eMap as

eMap produces maps and related graphic products for various purposes. The aim is to create appealing and intuitive maps that are both useful and user-friendly. The product range includes regular paper maps, wall maps, cabin maps, information boards, books, brochures, hiking signs, and more. Detailed descriptions can be found on the product pages.

The company began creating orienteering maps based on data in 1988 and has remained at the forefront of cartographic development since then. Over the years, eMap has received several awards and recognition for its work, including 12 diplomas for “Best Map” at the Geomatikkdagenes map exhibition, as well as positive reviews in various media, such as newspaper tests on car and tourist maps, city maps, and for the publisher Cappelen Damm, contributing as a subcontractor from 1992 to 2024. In 2024, a collaboration began with the Swedish publisher Calaso Forlag to produce car and tourist maps, as well as maps for Norway, Scandinavia, and the Nordic countries.

Most of the production is commissioned by public and private customers. Additionally, maps are published under the company’s own publisher, including a map and map book of Trondheim and the Trondheim region.

Consulting and training services in map-making and cartography are also offered, along with analysis, data conversion, and other GIS-related services.
